Cheapest Flight from cleveland to houston?
Im not asking for websites to find the cheapest. im 16 and my grandfather is paying for me to get back home (im stuck in ohio) the cheapest ive found is a one way flight for 129 plus tax for southwest airlines if i leave on july 1st. i need to leave by then. so can anyone find any cheaper flights???

It seems like Southwest will be the cheapest compared to the other US airlines. I found fares on the other ones that are $200+

I saw your $129 southwest flight. That total would be $150.00 even. That is actually a pretty cheap flight. Airtran also has a $129 flight for Friday June 27 at 5:50am, if you wanted to leave earlier. The total price for that would be $150 also. I don't think you will be able to find cheaper unless you get lucky since it's so close to that date, and that is a holiday weekend. http://tickets.airtran.com/Select.aspx

that flight should take about 1hr 50min so either they were literally flying 1,000 miles per hour instead of the standard 500 miles per hour OR the news people screwed up. my money is on the news people screwing up since the media can never get things completely accurate. just like as soon as the news came of the shooting it was reported that 20 people were shot and then a few days later all the sudden it was 19 people total were shot.

depends is it first class and with what airline you are flying with. how many stops???

It depends on what time of year you're flying, along with days of the week, times, etc.. But, a minimum of $1500 is pretty accurate. You should do a search of all the travel sites to find the lowest fare. There isn't one web site that will always give you the lowest fares everywhere.

I have always found the best deals on expedia.com. Cheaptickets.com offers good deals sometimes, but I find that expedia is overall a great travel agency. Check out the link source, it is to the deals for the trip you asked about. This obviously depends on the date you want to travel. Hope it helps. This is pretty expensive, but I'm sure it is because of the dates I put in. You might find a better deal on the dates you plan on traveling. Good luck. It depends on when you want to fly. It is cheaper during our late spring/summer/early fall. The Qantas website (www.qantas.com) has good deals. Right now I think there is an $899 special from LA (but that does not include taxes). Your best bet might be to book a flight from California to Australia, and then book your flight from Houston to California separately, rather than trying to book directly from Houston. It would be good to price it both ways for the dates you are looking. Also, Qantas has a deal where you can get an air pass, which means you get the fare to Australia, as well as a few flights within the country for around $1100 from LA (plus tax). In addition to expedia.com and orbitz.com, you should try kayak.com, and also check the airlines directly. Good luck!
