Can I change my flight time on Continental

Can I change my flight time on Continental?
My flight isn't till October and I want to change the connecting flight time in Houston to the next flight out. My current connection is only 53 minutes layover and I want to change to the next flight (an hour later) to give me more time for changing planes (I have to change terminals). Can I do this or am I stuck having to run to make my connection? Is there a fee for it? Also, I already changed my seats (travel agent got me seats in the back of the plane). If I keep changing stuff will they think I'm a terrorist? This is my 1st time to fly. The entire flight is on Continental They are advance purchase tickets-non refundable. This travel agent didn't help me at all- knowing I had never bought plane tickets so I didn't know the connect time wasn't good till after I bought the tickets.

If you bought the cheapest price tickets, they usually charge you a fee if you change any portion. Hopefully your departing flight will not be delayed so you have time to make your layover. If you can, try to find out where your connecting gate is located by asking the flight attendant. Sometimes they announce gates if you are connecting to another city. Maybe the connecting gate isn't too far away. Hopefully your airplane is small so that it will not take you too long to get off the plane.

Continental charges $100 for the change... plus any additional fare if the new flight is currently more expensive than when you origianally booked it. It's like rebooking the ticket. The new price prevails.. plus $100.

you can do anything if it is booked you cannot change. but if there is an accommodation they will do this for you

probably already. Call your bank.

I booked a trip with orbitz about a month and a half ago so I have some experience with this. It did seem to take awhile for the money to come out of my account, but then again I did it on a Friday so it wasn't until the following Tuesday or Wednesday the funds came out of my account. They take it out in seperate increments - one for each activity (for instance, the airline, there and back, the hotel, any transportation, and any activities.) Hope it helps!

Delta Flight from Dubai to Houston

Delta Flight from Dubai to Houston?
This is the first time that I will travel on Delta so I was wondering if anyone has ever traveled on Delta Airlines from Dubai to Houston? If so how was it? Thanks in advance!

your flight is not non-stop on Delta to Houston, rather, it will make a connection somewhere enroute, and most likely will be with one of the partnered airlines of SkyTeam...of which Delta Airlines is a member.
2 :
it is a one-stopper via Atlanta. "change of gauge" from 777 down to...I think MD80? or maybe 737

Delta does not have a non stop to Dubai. You would have to make a connection in Atlanta (Delta's hub) and catch a flight from there. You would start the flight in Houston with either an MD88 or a CRJ 900. Then in Atlanta you would transfer to a 777. However if you are looking for a non stop flight, Emirates flies non stop on 777. Very nice airline, amazing service, and great food.
