Can I recharge my laptop on a Boeing 777 Plane

Can I recharge my laptop on a Boeing 777 Plane?
I will be on a 13 hour flight from Houston to Tokyo. When my battery starts running low can I recharge it on the plane? I am flying on Continental. I finally got someone at Continental who knew. They said only certain seats have the plugs. I guess I need to change my seat. I think they said rows 17 through 23. I am setting at rown 34.

I'm not sure if continental has adapters. your best bet will be to call them and ask. its a 777 so it should have a lot of services
2 :
I don't think so, maybe you should go and buy an extra battery for your computer.

Dude first of I know peeps at US Airways and Continetal SUCKS so good luck trying to get service you might have to pull a tooth for it hope you know dentistry! From first hand travel experince you can buy laptop ports at Bestbuy. Thats where i assume they have extended cord adapters or buy a cord from them with an airplane logo on the box. The 777 i know has ports i know alot about planes cuz of the peeps i know but it depends on what 777 they fly cuz theres diffrent ones. IE 777-232 look it up!

If you know what seat number and what the airplane model is than go to SeatGuru.com. They will indicate what seats have plugs so that you can recharge your labtop.

Does US airways and Continental serve meals on domestic

Does US airways and Continental serve meals on domestic?
My brother and I are flying from Columbus Ohio to Albuquerque New Mexico. From CMH to ABQ we will be flying US Airways via Phoenix leaving at 8 am. Return flight is Continental via Houston leaving ABQ at 615 am. The flight from Houston to Columbus is Continental Express with a Embrarer 145 regional jet. yes we are flying coach/economy class.

USAirways no Continental, yes on longer flights, so you may get one on the first leg/ Certainly not on the Embraer I dont know why a professional travel agent with years of experience would claim otherwise, but here is the Continental website page regarding meals. http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/content/travel/inflight/dining/domestic/default.aspx
2 :
Not sure about Continental, but US Airways serves meals on flights 3 hours or more. Drinks are served on all flights
3 :
Domestic airlines no longer serve meals for free. They ones over 4 hours will usually offer food for purchase but that is all.
4 :
The person above me is wrong. On Continental, they do serve meals for free, just on certain flights. Possible even on the embraer, but that you can check on their website. (BTW, Continental is and exellent airline) as for US Airways, I am not positie, but you can more than likely check on their website also...
5 :
On Continental mainline flights yes, not on Continental Express.
6 :
I dont know why someone is saying Continental doesnt have meals. I had one just last week on a flight from San Diego to Houston. It was a pasta dish that was actually pretty good.
7 :
Continental is the only airline that still serves meals on their flights longer than 4 or 5 hours. US Airways does not serve meals. You can purchase food from that airline.

Little weird but the only concrete piece of information you have that might help is the name of the cafe. Is the cafe in Houston as well? If you can find the cafe you'll find her.

Which would be cheaper bereavement or last minute

Which would be cheaper bereavement or last minute?
For a flight from Houston, Texas to Omaha, Nebraska for a funeral, which would be cheaper to purchase: a bereavment ticket or a last minute flight ticket?

Depends on whether you are airline or not, but Bereavement Fares are usually no discount as they are based on the full fare price - usually requires a copy of the Death Certificate. Cheaper to look at discount airline sites.
2 :
It depends on the airline. Some airline (like the one I work for) give a 50% discount on the regular economy fare which is usually a higher fare, but it may happen that a seat sale fare be lower than the discounted bereavement fare, in which case it is cheaper to travel on seat sale.
3 :
funerals don't usually happen the day after someone dies, so you should have time to go online and research a good deal. As mentioned, bereavement fares are discount off the full Y fare...so probably will not be the cheapest you can find.
4 :
It depends on the airline but some airlines have gotten rid of bereavement fares. See how much tickets cost on Southwest Airlines.
5 :
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Often airlines offer a discount off the full/highest-priced fare, and you can get a better deal by just booking a regular fare if it is still available. Go online to a site like http://www.expedia.com and see what the fares are for the trip you need to take and which airlines get you there. Then you can call the airline(s) and ask about what the bereavement fare would be. Don't be surprised if it ends up higher than what is available for normal fares. Bereavement fares were a big deal when airfares were always extremely high when you booked last minute or didn't stay over a saturday. These days, relatively low fares are usually available any time, until they sell out. Note that it must be a close relative to qualify for a bereavement fare. Get the name of the funeral home before you call. You'll need to give them that info if you book the bereavement fare.
